This training is offered using a flexible “flipped” format

Explore the complex and mysterious landscape that is online group work! While many online instructors avoid group assignments, this “flipped” training will cover the potential rewards of taking on this challenge. We’ll endeavor to steer you clear of pitfalls and discover new strategies to incorporate in different settings and provide you with practical ideas for effective and enjoyable online group work.

We are excited to share that we will be using a “flipped” approach for this session. This means that we will be providing you with access to a guided, self-paced training in Canvas that you can complete at a time that is most convenient for you. Additionally, once you have completed the self-paced training, you will have the option to schedule a one-on-one consultation with an instructional designer to share, discuss and refine your ideas for group work in your course.
