CU Denver Faculty Training and Events

Join your OSM facilitators along with a community of peers to take a deep dive into the theory and pedagogy associated with student-centered online teaching and learning, while developing skills and strategies for your personal teaching plan.

As we explore digital pedagogy together, you will simultaneously begin the development of an online course that’s infused with your perspective, passion, and expertise.

Added bonus? You’ll get to experience an online course from the perspective of a student, gaining valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges felt by online students every day.

This is a fully-online, 8-week facilitated course, focused on the fundamentals of online course development and delivery. As a member of the OSM community, you will want to plan for active participation and interaction each week.

OSM participants can expect to spend around 2-3 hours per week completing weekly assignments, collaborating with colleagues, and learning advanced Canvas functionality. New Canvas users may spend additional time learning basic Canvas functionality.
